Working with the UK’s largest wind power developer we have produced a comprehensive marketing programme that has included ongoing consultancy and strategy, branding and positioning, brochures (including consultation information prior to building windfarms), advertising and visitor centre exhibitions. Our work for ScottishPower has resulted in them winning a number of awards including the British Wind Energy Association’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Communication’ Award and more recently ‘The Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development’.
Even more recently, due in part to the increased profile and perceived worth of the Renewables division, ScottishPower has been integrated with the Spanish energy company Iberdrola. This has created a new electricity group that is one of the largest in Europe with a value of around €80 billion, a presence in more than 30 countries and 22 million points of supply. The new Group is also the world’s number one renewable energy operator with 7,000 MW of installed capacity and a pipeline of more than 38,000 MW.
