The website is the UK’s leading online source of information about environmentally-friendly cars, and was launched towards the end of 2006 in response to the increasing pressure on motorists to drive greener cars, in the face of a lack of resources available to help them choose the best green car. Through the application of the latest internet marketing techniques, the site has enjoyed large visitor numbers and has built up an extensive ‘opt-in’ database of people requesting news updates about the latest green cars. The site has also attracted extensive coverage in the media, ranging from various interviews on BBC Radio, to working with Green Futures magazine on their own green cars feature. |
